Here is another really neat project that I found that takes very little effort and turns out Great!
These burp cloths are very inexpensive to make, make nice gifts and are a modern version of a burp cloth. I found the pattern on www.homemadebyjill.blogspot.com. I have a link to this blog on my blog. Mine didn't turn out exactly like the pattern, but close enough. I used the same fabric on some of them as my nursing covers, so they match! Give them a try! These pictures show the front and back of the ones I made. I ended up with 6 total out of the scrap fabric I had left over from the covers!
I found this pattern last summer and it was one of the first projects I did on the sewing machine Stephen got me last year for our anniversary. I used some receiving blankets Rachel had given me and they turned out very cute and were not really hard at all. I agree this is a great project! :)
